🌄 Dong Valley, Arunachal Pradesh – India's First Sunrise Point
Dong Valley is a remote, picturesque valley nestled in the easternmost part of Arunachal Pradesh, India. Known as the first place in India to receive the morning sun, Dong lies at an altitude of over 1,240 meters above sea level, near the tri-junction of India, China, and Myanmar. It's located in the Anjaw district and is accessible from Walong, which is the nearest township.
The valley offers stunning vistas of misty hills, pristine rivers, and pine forests. Trekkers and nature lovers are drawn to this hidden gem for its serenity and untouched beauty.
